Shimla, the Queen of Hills
Better known as the erstwhile capital of the British, Shimla is an amalgamation of heritage, historical troves, and splendid nature. Shimla is situated at an altitude of 6500 meters and is replete with abounding alpine forests, and sparkling snow capped peaks.
How to reach Shimla?
The travelers can hire a semi deluxe car, and within approx. 6 to 8 hours they can reach Shimla. The tourists also have the option of booking an air conditioned semi deluxe Volvo bus ticket. These buses are being operated by Himachal tourism and land the passengers to the coveted destination within 5 to 6 hours. The unplanned tourists can tread the road via any normal Himachal Roadways bus, which would take approx 12 hours to make it to Shimla. Shimla also has an airport situated 23 km away from Jubbarhati city for all those whi wish to board the flight.
